Valve Index is still important for SteamVR enthusiasts, but it is no longer the obvious PC VR buy. Its tracking and controllers remain excellent, while newer headsets deliver much sharper panels and easier setup.
PICO 4 Ultra is a strong Quest-style mixed-reality alternative in markets where it is officially sold. For U.S. buyers, availability and software library depth keep Quest 3 and Quest 3S ahead.
